Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are on their way to wedded bliss and the groom-to-be can't wait for the big day.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end's upcoming nuptials to the Life of a Showgirl singer briefly came up while he was speaking with pro golfer Rory McIlroy on the Wednesday (May 6) episode of his and brother Jason Kelce's New Heights podcast.

McIlroy, who once again won the Masters Tournament in April, was explaining his view of hosting the tournament's annual Masters Champion Dinner when he compared the feeling to that of his wedding day, pointing out that Travis will soon have first-hand knowledge of that experience, per People.

"Travis, you'll feel this this year whenever you're sitting at your wedding, and you have all the people in a room ... it's amazing to have all these people in the same room from your childhood ... and it's surreal. It's unbelievable," he said. "The only thing that I can compare it to is your wedding day because it's like all this collection of people in the same room. It's like wild."

As for Travis, he is absolutely ready for it, smiling as he replied, "I can't wait."

While he didn't share details about his and his fiancée's future trip down the aisle, sources told Page Six last month that the pair plan to get married in New York City on July 3, despite previous reports claiming they were going to say "I do" in Rhode Island and considering June 13, 2026, as their wedding date.

Swift and Kelce announced their engagement on Instagram on August 26, 2025, after two years of dating, writing, "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," and sharing photos from the romantic garden proposal. The "Fate of Ophelia" hitmaker later gushed over the "love of [her] life" and previously shared how he "crushed" the proposal despite his nerves.
